AAAA Records in Cloud Web Hosting
If you'd like to set up a new AAAA record for any domain or subdomain hosted within your cloud web hosting account, it won't take you more than a few easy steps to do that. Our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is very intuitive to use and is going to enable you to set up or modify any record effortlessly. After you sign in and navigate to the DNS Records section, where you can find all current records for your domain names and subdomains, you'll only have to click on the "New" button, pick out AAAA from a small drop-down menu in the pop-up which will show up, input or paste the necessary IPv6 address and save the change - it's as basic as that. The new record will be 100% live within no more than one hour and the hostname you have created it for shall start opening whatever content you have with the other company. If necessary, you will also be able to edit the TTL (Time To Live) value, which signifies the time in seconds the new record will be working after you eventually change it to something different or you simply delete it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you have a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to create an AAAA record for a domain you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've created, it'll take you only a few clicks within the Hepsia Control Panel to achieve that. Even if you have never had a website hosting account before, you won't encounter any troubles since you will use a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All DNS records for your domains are going to be listed in a section of the Control Panel with the same name, so as soon as you go there, you will notice all records which have been set up automatically or manually and you will be able to create a new one by simply clicking the corresponding button. A small pop-up will appear, so with just several clicks you can pick the type of record you need and for which Internet domain or subdomain it'll be set up. Afterwards, just paste the IPv6 address in a text box, save the modification and one hour later the new AAAA record will be completely functioning. As an optional setting, you may choose the length of time this record shall be functioning after you edit it or erase it in the future. This is actually the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can change from the default 3600 seconds in case the other company demands it.
